Pilates is a core-centric series of progressive exercises that can be customized to a client's needs.  

The focus of Pilates is on good form and alignment while improving strength and flexibility.

The aspects of mind-body connection, coordinated breath and improved posture makes Pilates an excellent cross-training regimen.  

Yoga

There are many types of yoga and many benefits.  The stretching aspects may benefit runners and cyclists, the balance challenges strengthen the core and legs, and the learned relaxation techniques are invaluable to everyone.  

In addition to teaching traditional Vinyasa Yoga, Debra incorporates aspects of yoga into the workouts she offers.  Yoga stretches can be part of the warm-up or cool-down, challenging poses can be combined with other work and breath work is woven in.

Debra also offers private yoga lessons which can help demystify the objectives, teach the basics and demonstrate how to modify poses as necessary.
